Overview:
To celebrate Marquee Singapore’s 4th Anniversary, we developed an immersive campaign and weekend experience themed ELYSIAN, a UV-lit underwater fantasy world designed to reignite excitement post-pandemic and reaffirm Marquee’s position as the region’s leading nightlife destination.
I led art direction, visual identity, concept development, event space experience, seeding kits, digital and social cross-channel campaign execution.
Challenge:
After years of restrictions, audiences were eager for larger-than-life nightlife experiences. Marquee needed a creative concept that would cut through the noise, attract new and returning partygoers, and transform its anniversary into a headline moment for Singapore’s nightlife scene.
Insight:
Audience behavior showed a strong appetite for escapism, novelty, and visually-driven experiences — especially those that translate well into social content.
The opportunity: create a world guests could step into, not just attend.
Creative Concept: ELYSIAN
A neon-lit underwater utopia inspired by bioluminescence, deep-sea motion, and surreal fantasy.
Design pillars:
UV/neon-reactive palette
Organic, flowing textures
Glowing jellyfish and aquatic motifs
Luminous typography
Motion-guided visual rhythm
Impact:
The turnout and reception were overwhelmingly positive, hitting full capacity every night.
The anniversary weekend reached full capacity across all three nights.
Social content generated strong organic traction, with guests actively creating UGC inspired by the UV theme.
Influencers, partners, and regulars praised the immersive environment and visual transformation of the venue.
The campaign helped reinforce Marquee’s reputation as the benchmark for nightlife experiences in the region.
Overview:
For KOMA’s 4th Anniversary, I developed the creative direction for “The Many Flavours of Japanese Cuisine.” An immersive, sensory-driven celebration of Japanese artistry. The concept blended culinary craftsmanship, fashion, interactive installations, and modern Japanese design, elevating the anniversary into a cultural experience rather than a typical event.
I led art direction, visual identity, campaign concept development, photoshoot direction, KOL strategy, and social content styling.
The Challenge:
KOMA needed an anniversary experience that would feel refined, premium, and unexpected - appealing to a mature, fashion-forward audience and standing out within Singapore’s competitive hospitality scene.
Insight:
The target demographic valued exclusivity, craft, and modern cultural expression. This informed a concept that spotlighted the “faces and flavours” of Japanese cuisine through fashion, installations, and contemporary reinterpretations of tradition.
Creative Concept: “The Many Flavours of Japanese Cuisine”:
The campaign celebrated the delicate balance of Japanese culinary artistry.
We translated signature dishes and cocktails into fashion looks, immersive installations, and social-first moments.
Design Pillars:
Fashion inspired by iconic dishes (Salmon Pillow, Canary Cocktail, Bonsai Dessert)
Giant paper cranes and contemporary Japanese décor
Interactive elements (edible bonsai tree, live fashion presentations)
Soft glam beauty with modern Japanese influences
Warm, premium tones inspired by the restaurant’s architecture
Event Installations & Art Direction:
Giant paper cranes at the entrance
Interactive fan wall
Contemporary Japanese drink presentation
Photo-op parasol zone
Models embodying dishes, desserts & cocktails through couture styling
Multi-sensory elements to merge dining, fashion, and performance
Impact:
The event saw a successful full-house anniversary celebration and strengthened KOMA’s brand positioning as a refined, experiential Japanese dining destination.
Strong social engagement from both guests and invited personalities
High usage of photo-op installations
Positive reception toward the fashion-meets-culinary concept
